Quick Exhaust Valve - how does it work
Quick Exhaust valves are mainly used to increase the extending speed of the piston by direct venting. Applications are for example trimming and stamping. Also the cycle time hereby is reduced.
Quick exhaust valves are always installed in the vent side directly on the cylinder. The following animation clarifies the function:
Work order: Cutting device
The following device cuts off plastic sheet material. The cylinder extends when the left-hand-button and the right-hand-botton (1S1) are pressed. A double-acting cylinder should be installed. As soon as one of the two buttons is released, the cutting edge returns to its basic position.
